Nnenna Ukachi Badamosi, MD, MPH is a pediatric hematologist-oncologist with clinical and research interest in sickle cell disease and hemoglobinopathies. She recently joined Vertex Pharmaceuticals in the role of Medical Science Liaison – Associate Medical Director for the Southeast. Prior to December 2021, she directed the Sickle Cell Transition Program at Augusta University and has remained focused on the global burden of hemoglobinopathies and improving clinical outcomes for children and young adults with blood disorders. When she is not working, Nnenna enjoys reading, gardening, and spending time with her family.
