Hi my name is Tracie Brown. I am a Family Nurse Practitioner from Cleveland, Ohio. I have enjoyed the profession of nursing for 10 years and have worked with both the adult population, and the neonatal population. I have a Bachelor’s of Arts in Psychology from Kent State University, a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing from Ohio University, and a Master’s of Science in Nursing with certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner. I currently serve as a provider for the pediatric sickle cell community as a Nurse Practitioner at University Hospitals Rainbow Babies and Children's hospital since 2021. I work with Dr. Amma Owusu- Ansah who is the Director of the Pediatric Sickle Cell Program at UH RBC which provides a medical home for patients living with sickle cell disease in an exceptional and comprehensive approach in creating better health outcomes. I look forward to continuous learning from the warriors who are living with Sickle Cell Disease as well as striving for new wellness strategies, technological, scientific, and pharmacological advances in sickle cell care.
