Beng Fuh, MD, PhD, is a Professor of Pediatrics, East Carolina University in Greenville, NC where he is the director of pediatric hematology and oncology. He obtained his medical degree from the Philipps University in Marburg, Germany and a PhD from the free University in Berlin, Germany. He completed residency training at Howard University and the Children’s National Medical Center in Washington, DC. He then went on to complete fellowship training in pediatric hematology and oncology at Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus, OH. He joined East Carolina university in 2007 following completion of fellowship training. His research interests are sickle cell disease and hemophilia.
